Schools to reopen tomorrow

There are 56000 schools (owned by the government and self-financed, privately owned) schools in Tamil Nadu.12500000 students (boys and girls) study in these schools.
There are 3 Lakh teachers in the government schools and 2 Lakh teachers in private schools.
The annual final examinations for all the classes were conducted during April and then the summer vacations started.
The summer vacations have drawn to a close and the schools are set to reopen on 1st June (tomorrow).
The activity of cleaning and sprucing up the school complexes have been taken up in full swing.
Arrangements are also being made to distribute the free books and notebooks and uniforms to the students on the reopening day itself.
The free books, notebooks, and uniforms have already been handed over to the respective school headmasters.
The officials confirmed that the free books, notebooks, and uniforms will be given to the students tomorrow. For those who missed, it will be done the next day.
