Rains predicted for today evening

Due to convection there would be rains today. The Kathri season came to an end in Tamil Nadu on 28th May. In spite of this, the intensity of heat has not come down in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. In more than 7 places 100 degree Fahrenheit was recorded. At the same time there were rains in some parts of Tamil Nadu.
Regional Meteorological Centre has mentioned that there will be rains or thunder shower in one or two places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition likely to be partly cloudy. Rain or thundershowers is likely to occur in some areas during evening or night. Maximum and Minimum temperature are likely to be around 36 and 28 deg Celsius respectively.
