Maulana Azad Scholarship for Girls

Applications are invited for the Maulana Azad National Scholarship, given away by the Union government through Maulana Azad Education Foundation to girls belonging to minority communities such as Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhist, Parsi and Jain communities from Tamil Nadu
Meritorious girl students, currently studying Standard XI, from minority communities are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Selected candidates would be given a scholarship of Rs.12, 000 in two installments.
The annual income of those applying for scholarship should be below Rs. 1 lakh. The students should have obtained 55 per cent marks in Standard X examination and must have secured admission to Plus-One.
Application forms can be downloaded from maef.nic.in. The filled in applications are to be submitted in the respective schools.
