Do you have an inverter at home? Or have you got plans to buy one for this summer? If yes, this article is for you.

Many a times, people connect their fridge, washing machine, or AC with the inverter. This is definitely not recommended. The load on inverter will get hit when it is connected with too many devices. Hence, connect only your fan and lights with the inverter.

Keep checking the inverter for enough water level as required. It is not necessary that you should refill water only after all the water content gets emptied. Check the inverter once in three months and refill water. Make it a point that distilled water should only be used.

Have an eye on the manufactured date of distilled water. After one month of manufacturing, the water will lose its uniqueness. You need not buy the distilled water bottles in bulk and store at your home. Also, keep in mind not to drink the water as it is pure form of water. Distilled water is not for consumption.

Connections made with the inverter are called the Terminals. These need to be checked and ensured that the connections are tight. When the connection is lose, there may be problems with the inverter.

There are a few localities that luckily does not experience power shutdown at all. People in these areas should manually shutdown power supply in their home and use the inverter at least for five minutes.

When the water level from battery reduces, pour some water to it. Once poured, turn off the inverter and turn it on again. If undone, the inverter efficiency will get damaged.

Change sulfuric acid in the battery for once in a year. If not, the total working hours of the inverter will reduce from 8 to 7, 6 or 5.
