Changes in the pattern of train services

Due to Line Block to facilitate engineering works for commissioning the second broad gauge railway line between Vriddhachalam – Mathur in Villupuram – Tiruchirappalli section, changes will be made in the pattern of train services as detailed below.

The following trains will be partially cancelled:

Train No.56706 / 56705 Madurai – Villupuram – Madurai passenger trains will be partially cancelled between Ariyalur – Villupuram on 26th, 27th & 28th March, 2017.

Train No.76849 / 76850 Vriddhachalam – Salem – Vriddhachalam passenger trains will be partially cancelled between Mukhasaparur – Vriddhachalam on 28th March, 2017.

Train No.56514 Bangalore – Karaikkal passenger train will be partially cancelled between Vriddhachalam – Karaikkal on 27th March, 2017. The train will run from Bangalore to Vriddhachalam only.

Train No.56513 Karaikkal – Bangalore passenger train will be partially cancelled between Karaikkal – Mukhasaparur on 28th March, 2017. The train will run from Mukhasaparur to Bangalore only.

The following trains will be rescheduled:

Train No.16352 Nagercoil – Mumbai CST Express, scheduled to leave Nagercoil at 05.00 hrs, will be rescheduled to leave late by 60 minutes on 26th March, 2017.

Train No.12664 Tiruchirappalli – Howrah Express, scheduled to leave Tiruchirappalli at 16.00 hrs, will be rescheduled to leave late by 75 minutes on 28th March, 2017.

Train No.12605 Chennai Egmore – Karaikkudi Pallavan Express, scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 15.45 hrs, will be rescheduled to leave late by 60 minutes on 28th March, 2017.

The following trains will be diverted:

Train No.16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express will be diverted to run via Villupuram, Mayiladuthurai and Tiruchirappalli on 26th, 27th& 28th March, 2017.

Train No.16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express will be diverted to run via Tiruchirappalli, Mayiladuthurai and Villupuram on 28th March, 2017.

Train No.12635 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Vaigai Express will be diverted to run via Villupuram, Mayiladuthurai and Tiruchirappalli on 28th March, 2017.

Train No.12636 Madurai – Chennai Egmore Vaigai Express will be diverted to run via Tiruchirappalli, Mayiladuthurai and Villupuram on 28th March, 2017.

The following train will be regulated:

Train No.76842 Tiruchirappalli – Cuddalore Port Jn. passenger train will be regulated / delayed at Sendurai (between Ariyalur – Vriddhachalam) for 30 minutes on 28th March, 2017.

The following trains will be short terminated:

Train No.76850 Salem – Vriddhachalam passenger train will be short terminated at Mukhasaparur till 27th March, 2017.

Train No.76849 Vriddhachalam – Salem passenger train will leave from Mukhasaparur till 27th March, 2017.
