Chennai students top ICSE and ISC exams

In the results of ICSE and ISC exam announced by the Council for the Indian School Certificate on Monday, either exams were topped by Chennai students. These results for ISC pertaining to class 12 and ICSE pertaining to Class 10 were announced based on best 3 or 4 subjects along with English.
The topper in Class 12 result is Parmesh Ravi from Sishya School. He has scored 98.5 percent with 394 on 400. Sumedha D from Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam has scored the second place with 393 marks. The third place goes to Mukunda Murali who hails from Sreyans Sipani of Sishya School with 392 marks.
Coming on to class 10 results, Aakash Jajoo from Sishya, Chennai is the topper with 493 out of 500. Students from Vellore: Priyanka and Kashish V have scored 492 and 490 respectively from Ida Scudder School and have acquired 2nd and 3rd place.
Just like all the other boards, girls have outperformed boys this time as well. And the pass percentage of ISC schools is 99.34 percent which was 98.9 percent last year.
The pass percent of girls in class 12 exam is 100 percent and that of class 10 is 99.86. The same with boys is 98.84 percent and 99.60 percent with class 12 and class 10 results respectively.
