Prospects of rain in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the recent formation of a low-pressure zone over the Central-West Bay of Bengal, there are prospects of rain with thunder in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
It rained in several places in Tamil Nadu for a few days due to the cyclonic format developed over the Bay of Bengal, This rain also brought great relief from the oppressive heat with the city becoming cooler.
With the recently formed depression zone over the Bay of Bengal, the weather has turned cloudy in several parts of Tamil Nadu and the weather has become cooler.
An official from the centre explained that a depression zone has formed over the Central-West of the Bay of Bengal. As this depression is moving towards the north, there are good prospects heavy rain in the northern coastal area of Andhra and the coast areas of Odisha.
With the formation of the depression zone, he informed that there are prospects of clouds gathering and subsequent rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Chennai Metro will remain cloudy. It may rain in a few suburban areas.
