Online registration for writing AIIMS entrance exam commences today

The online registration facility for applying to write the AIIMS medical course entrance examination scheduled to be conducted in May commenced today (Monday, 5th February).
Most students interested in pursuing medical courses would have the ambition to join in the AIIMS colleges. AIIMS colleges function under the direct control of the central government department of health – in order to join the graduate and the postgraduate courses offered here, the students have to first write the entrance examinations and pass them.
The entrance examinations for the coming academic year is scheduled to be conducted on 26th and 27th May. The online registration facility to apply for writing these examinations commenced today (5th Feb). Online registration can be made until 5th March.
Until now, the entrance examinations will be conducted in all the major cities throughout the country. However, from this year, the system of writing the entrance exam online is being introduced. So, the students need not have to go to the examination centres.
The successful candidates in the examinations can join the MBBS courses in the colleges located in 9 cities including New Delhi, Patna, Bhubaneshwar, and Guntur.
The students who are presently studying in +2 can also apply online.
