Shenoy Nagar Metro station work progresses

The roof-slab work at Shenoy Nagar Under Ground (UG) station has been nearing completion, and the base slab work of 175-m was completed and the remaining work for 25-m have to be carried out. The excavation work being carried out for 66,300 cubic meters, nearly 65,500 cubic meters work was completed, in addition to the completion of  Rebar Work for laying of Concourse slab and Plunge columns. The work of Diaphragm wall grabbing was started at the entry and exit points, says an official communication.

At the Tambaram 1 tunneling work of the initial drive work has been completed, it is learnt. The backup gantries and other parts of TBM 2 has been lowered into the shaft showing a progress in assembling work.
