Security for women in EMUs

The latest Railway budget assures and paves way for the Increase in the number of Railway Police Force in women`s compartments of EMUs.
As of now the women securities in EMUs that ply for women exclusively and EMUs with separate compartments for them and ply in mornings and evenings for the working women and students have been increased. These women security forces travel in the women compartments in peak hours to provide them security and make them feel free to travel without any fear.
If any woman come across any difficulty while in travelling could contact the round-the-clock complaint cell and seek help.
The number for making complaints is 044-25353999. On receiving complaints the security forces will reach the train immediately for taking action, says Railway Police Force Senior Commissioner S.R.Kanth.
It is to be remembered a few days ago, the RPF took severe action against some men who travelled in women compartments.
