Students agitate in front of Raj Bhavan

The students’ agitation regarding the US-led resolution against Sri Lanka for war crimes has completed a week today. The movement has found strength in the Tamil Nadu Government’s order to close all colleges indefinitely. Students from over 20 colleges have started to protest in front of the Governor’s residence Raj Bhavan in Chennai. Similar protests are being held in district capitals across the State.
All roads leading to and from Raj Bhavan have been blocked and the police force has been placed in strategic places to avoid any untoward incidents.
