The Court Registrar has informed that the important cases pending will be taken up for enquiry from 20th April.
Lockdown was imposed as a preventive measure against the raging coronavirus pandemic and as such, Chennai High Court, its Madurai Branch, and all other Lower Court activities were halted until 30th April.
Emergency cases are filed in Chennai High Court where the judges give orders after an enquiry in person or through the video-conferencing facility.
