Coronavirus: Status Tamil Nadu: State Government health department

The Department of Health of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has informed that 52 more persons have been confirmed with coronavirus infection today (Tuesday, 27th April). In Chennai Metro City alone, 47 persons are affected! So far, 1,101 [ersons have recovered and have been discharged.
With the above data, the number of persons affected with coronavirus in Tamil Nadu has increased to 1,937.
As a preventive measure to control the spreading of the raging coronavirus pandemic, lockdown conditions have been imposed throughout the country. Despite this, there has been an increasing trend in the daily affected number of persons confirmed with coronavirus infection throughout the country over the last few days.
The central department of Health has informed that so far, the number of persons affected with coronavirus in the country has increased to 29,450. 938 lives have been lost! 7,133 persons have recovered.
Raging coronavirus has made a strong impact in the state of Tamil Nadu as well. Today, 52 more persons have been confirmed with coronavirus infection in the state!
- 1,101 persons have recovered in Tamil Nadu, have been discharged, and returned home. 81 persons have been discharged today (27th April) in Tamil Nadu.
- No lives were lost today in the state. So far, 24 persons have died.
- In Chennai Metro City alone, 47 persons were confirmed with coronavirus infection today! So far, 570 persons have been affected in Chennai Metro City.
- 25,503 persons in Tamil Nadu are under house monitoring. 19 persons are under government monitoring.
- So far, 86,339 persons have been tested in the state. 7176 tests were taken up just on one day today!
- Tamil Nadu has the largest number of testing centers in India - 41. Presently, 809 persons are under treatment in Tamil Nadu.
- 56.84% of the affected have recovered.
- As Chennai Metro City is a densely populated place, it is rather a great challenge to control the raging coronavirus pandemic!
- So far, there has been no report that recovered persons have been affected again!
- Out of the affected persons today, 33 are men. And 19 are women - both confirmed with coronavirus infection.
- In the state of Tamil Nadu, only 3 districts have reported more cases of infection - Chennai, Madurai, and Villupuram!
