The Oxford Coronavirus vaccine to be available at half-price from December!
Information is gathered that the Oxford University make coronavirus vaccine will be available at half-price in India in January-February.
The Central Government is scheduled to get the vaccine for treatment of coronavirus infection made by Oxford University, ‘Oxford Covishield’, in January or February and as per information received, the central government has decided to sell the same at half-price.
With the Research-efforts taken up by India with England all set to be completed, these vaccines are to be tried on the field staff/employees and on the doctors as well!
Further, the central government has sought approval from the England government to use this vaccine for emergency purposes/situations. In this scenario, information is now gathered that this vaccine may available to Serum Institute (Pune, India) in the next 2 months and this would be available to |India at a half-the-fixed price of Rs. 500 or Rs. 600.
Aadhar Poonavala, CEO, Serum Institute, |Pune, India has informed that the vaccine Covishield will be available to the Indian people before March-April 2021. This vaccine needs to be kept in temperature zones 2 Degrees Centigrade to 8 Degrees Centigrade and this would be available for the public in the private market at Rs. 500 to Rs. 600.
