In Chennai, 47 mini clinics to be opened today, residents to get benefited

Chennai residents could get treated for their health issues easily!!
The chief minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. E. Palaniswamy would be inaugurating as many as 47 mini clinics on Monday in the 15 GCC zones in the first phase.
It was mentioned by an officer belonging to the GCC that in the first phase 47 mini clinic would be opened for the public and Chennai city would have a total of 200 mini clinics. There would be 6 mini clinics each in zones like Tondiapet, Thiru Vi Ka Nagar And in the Teynampet. This was brought out by the data from the corporation.
It is worthy to note that most mini clinics would be coming up at the existing primary health care centre buildings plus in the corporation gyms, division offices etc. With the objective of setting up 2 or 3 mini clinics in each assembly constituencies, the state government recently issued a government order to constitute 2000 mini clinics.
The medical officers or doctors, nurses and workers have been appointed by the GCC to work in these 47 mini clinics and these persons would be working from 9 am to 11 am and then from 4 pm to 7 pm. There are many areas in Chennai city where large number of construction works and migrant labourers reside. It is now said that TN government had given instructions to the GCC to set up mini clinics in these areas.
As per the GCC official it was clear that the chief minister would be inaugurating mini clinic in the Royapuram zone today, Monday. He added that the chief minister would visit another 2 zones on Monday. Information gathered is that the remaining clinics (one clinic each for 200 divisions) would be opened in phases. On Sunday, Mr. C. Vijayabaskar, health minister, was busy inspecting the mini clinics that are being set up in Chennai city.
A total of 630 mini clinics would be opened for the people in the state of TN as a part of the first phase. Point is that as many as 200 mini clinics would be opened in the GCC limits and other 200 mini clinics in the heavily populated urban places.
Description of the mini clinic:
There would be well illuminated room of 200 sq ft area in the mini clinic. For the installation of regular medical devices, there would be a separate examination room along with the essential furniture and infrastructure.
