New regulation: Aadhar details mandatory to receive body organs for transplants Tamil Nadu Government Gazette

The State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that Aadhar card details will be mandatory to offer or receive human body organs for transplants.

Generally, there has been a trend that that body parts of the citizens who die young or citizens having serious brain-related issues or citizens who die in accidents are being given as per their wishes.

Though their certain prevailing regulations to carry this out, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has recently released a regulation in the Tamil Nadu State Government Journal!

As such, details of Aadhar cards will be mandatory for those who register for human body organs for transplants, transfer of the patients receiving organ transplantation when they are being shifted from one hospital to another, and the citizens coming forward to donate their organs can do so based on the respective Aadhar cards.

Further, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has released another announcement making Aadhar cards mandatory for receiving services without any links/contacts!

For the citizen, until ghe./she gets the unique Aadhar identity, the services without links/contacts can be provided.

The State Government of Tamil Nadu has emphasised in this announcement released that the Tamil Nadu Organ Transplant Commission MUST CREATE AWARENESS of this to both the public and the patients.
