In TN, 6 day classes for the students in colleges & universities from now on!!

The offline classes were conducted on alternative days in colleges in shifts in Tamil Nadu.
From now onwards, there would be 6 days of offline classes for the students per week and this would include Saturdays also. This was according to the Higher Educational Institutions or HEI.
Mr. D. Karthikeyan, secretary of higher education mentioned that all HEI like state universities, deemed universities, autonomous institutions and self- financing institutions were given orders to function 6 days a week in offline mode. The institutions must reschedule the theory examinations after 20th January and the secretary has asked all the institutions to organise model examinations for the students before semester and final examinations. This was mentioned in the circular that was sent to all the registrar and collectors.
The course materials must be provided to the students well in advance to help them prepare them for the examinations. It is revealed that the registrars and head of the institutions have been asked to ensure that course materials were provided to the students in advance. It is learnt that all Higher Educational Institutions have been allowed to function with full strength. Point to be noted is that the order comes in the wake of demands from the students/institutions to conduct regular offline classes for the students of colleges.
