Video phone calls soon available with BSNL

Chennai BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has written to the State government about its newest facility – video phone calls. All the subscriber needs is a BSNL broadband connection and two video phone machines. BSNL has said that it would be helpful to communicate between State headquarters and district administration.
‘Video meeting multi party calling or conferencing can be easily done with the new facility. Ability to connect to LCDs and projectors will give impetus to video communication. Voice and video on broadband (VVoBB) service has already been launched in Delhi and will soon be launched in Chennai… There is no need to log on using a computer and installation of two video call phones will serve the purpose’, said BSNL Spokesperson G Vijaya.
