Details about the demonstration of 23rd September in Tamil Nadu?

To seek the intervention of the CM on their pay related demands, the Federation of Government Doctors Association or FOGDA would be holding a demonstration on 23rd of September 2022.
It must be noted that on Monday 19th September 2022 members of TN Govt Doctors Association and federation that comprises of Democratic Tamil Nadu Government Doctors Association, Service Doctors and PG Association, TN Medical Officer`s Association and Government All Doctors Association took part in the discussions with the health minister Mr. M. Subramanian. In the meeting, a long pending demand to review GO 354 was discussed.
It was later mentioned by Mr. P. Saminathan, convenor of FOGDA that from the government side there was insistence to accept GO 293 that granted allowances to the doctors. He threw light about how there existed issues in granting allowances amongst specialists. Truth is that MBBS doctors in PHCs would receive just a meagre allowance.
Mr. Saminathan then spoke about how GO 293 had a clause to forego Dynamic Assured Career Progression or DACP. This DACP, a unique scheme, was implemented as the study period was 5 and 1/2 years and promotional chances were very less. The issue would be discussed with the finance minister and this was mentioned by the health minister.
