Surprising information about linking Aadhaar number and electricity connections in TN?

Ever since it was announced by the TNEB that the consumers would have to link their Aadhaar number with the electricity connEctions compulsorily, many consumers have been linking these two mentioned above despite facing issues.
Now, Mr. Senthil Balaji, the minister for electricity has stated that till now 92.26 lakhs consumers have linked their Aadhaar number with electricity connection in the state of TN.
To link Aadhaar number with the electricity connections, special camps would be held till 31st of December 2022 in as many as in 2811 divisional offices across the state. In this scenario, the minister has mentioned about the number of consumers who have already linked their Aadhar number with the electricity connections. The minister has even posted about the number of consumers who have linked their Aadhaar Number with the electricity connections in his Twitter page.
