Surprising information about the number of beneficiaries from TN governments medical scheme!!

The scheme `Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam` was initiated in 2021 and the main objective of this amazing scheme was to provide medical kits for many health problems like BP, diabetes, dialysis etc. It is now brought out that till now a total of one crore people have benefited by this scheme.
On 29th of December, the one croreth person would be given a medical kit by the chief minister of TN. This was mentioned by the health minister of TN Mr. M. Subramanian. This scheme has as many as 10000 nurses working and each one of them would be receiving rechargeable BP apparatus.
He spoke about how the TN govt has taken into consideration the long term pending requests to provide incentives for 20000 specialists in the state.
Currently, the number of Covid-19 cases have increased in many countries and the TN health minister revealed that from 36000 daily cases the number of cases have reduced to just single digits in recent times. Every day, TN continues to report seven to eight Covid-19 cases.
He appreciated the efforts taken by the government in intensifying the Covid vaccination across the state. This has led to zero deaths in the last 7 months. Till now, atleast 96% of the population have received their first dose of vaccination and about 95% the second dose in Tamil Nadu.
It must be recalled that a lab was also set up at the DPH campus for the sake of genomic sequencing. This was according to the recommendation from the TN chief minister when there was a sudden spike in the number of Covid-19 cases. It would be possible to test samples in this lab itself instead of sending the samples to Bengaluru or Pune etc. Thehealth minister concluded that the state health department has met the Union ministry for the construction of AIIMS in Madurai.
