CMRL Partners with CSK to Offer Free Metro Rides for IPL 2025 Fans
Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has joined hands with Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited (CSKCL) to provide hassle-free travel for cricket fans attending IPL 2025 matches at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium.
As part of this initiative, CMRL will extend metro train services on all CSK match days in Chennai, ensuring safe and convenient transportation. IPL ticket holders can avail a sponsored round-trip metro journey between any CMRL station and Government Estate Metro Station, the closest stop to the stadium.
To accommodate match-day crowds, metro services will be extended by up to 90 minutes post-match or until 1:00 AM, depending on passenger demand. Last train schedules will be announced prior to each match day.
This initiative aims to reduce traffic congestion, promote public transport, and enhance the match-day experience for fans. CMRL encourages all CSK supporters to utilize metro services for a smooth and enjoyable journey to the stadium.
