Student loan ombudsman

A student who doesn’t get a reply from a bank regarding education loan within a month can approach the banking ombudsman and file a complaint. The ombudsman can be contacted on www.bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in or (044) 2539 9170 / 25395964 /25399158. Separately, Voice of India, an NGO has also facilitated an education loan facilitation centre at 9994658672 to help students pursuing higher studies to get educational loans from banks.
