SASTRA professor gets award

Srinivasan Vedantham, professor at SASTRA`s School of Chemical and Biotechnology, bagged the 2014 BASF Newtrition Asia Research Grant, awarded by global chemical major BASF. Professor received Vedantham 25,000 euros and a certificate for his proposal to study the role of plant sterols for better fetal outcome especially in obese and gestational diabetic mothers.
