TAMILNADU IS A PREFERRED DESTINATION FOR JAPANESE INVESTMENTS

Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said on Monday that the government has decided to establish a separate industrial cluster for Japanese companies, as Tamilnadu has become the most   preferred destination for Japanese investment.

At the signing of a MoU between the Guidance Bureau of the Industries Department and Commerce, Industries and Labour Bureau of the Government of Hiroshima Prefecture at the Secretariat, Mr. Stalin said more than 236 Japanese companies out of 728 in the country were located in the State.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. Stalin and Hidehiko Yuzaki, Governor of Hiroshima Prefectural government, by M. Velmurugan, executive vice-chairman, Guidance Bureau, and Toshihiko Shirota, director, Commerce, Industries and Labour Bureau, Hiroshima Prefecture.
