Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) has created a new route for Darshan exclusively for the Quick Darshan ticket holders. The creation of this route has cost Rs. 2 Crores.

TTD has been regularly bringing out changes in the rules and regulation for the benefit of the countless devotees.

The quick Darshan Rs. 300/- ticket holders have to walk for around 2 km before entering the Sanctum Sanctorum for the Darshan of the Lord. The devotees had put forward a demand to reduce this long distance of walking.

TTD CEO reviewed this demand with his team and have constructed a new waiting room with all modern facilities near the Vaikuntam Hall-1. To reach this hall, the devotees will have to go through Tirumalai ATC car station. As soon as entering the new waiting hall, the facility is available to keep personal luggage items and other things.

The devotees will have to keep their cell-phones, personal belongings, and footwear here. Then they have to move West to reach the ticket checking counter for the Rs. 300/- quick Darshan ticket holders. From here, the devotees can reach the Sanctum Sanctorum through Vaikuntam-1.

With this new route, the distance covered by the Rs. 300/- quick Darshan ticket holders has been reduced from 2 km to just 0.5 km.

Depending on the popular good feedback, there are plans to keep this special route open from Telugu New Year`s Day which falls on Friday, 8th April.
