Report unlawful practices during election season

In the wake of the upcoming elections, flying squads have been formed to keep up the law. These squads register cases against bribe givers and takers. Cases against those threatening and intimidating electors are also registered.
Those who have witnessed such events, or have been victim to them, can call on toll free numbers to report the offenders. The numbers are 18004257012 and 044-25303825. A 24 x 7 helpline is also available at 9445190473.
In an official statement, officials said, A monitoring cell for Chennai district has been set up for receiving the complaints.
