1008 Rajinikanth fans tonsure heads in Temple

Members of the Tamilnadu Rajnikanth general workers association expressed their gratitude to the presiding deity Lord Dhanyuthapaniswamy for saving the actor from serious ailments for which he had undergone treatment in Singapore.
1008 fans of superstar Rajinikanth yesterday tonsured their heads at the famous hill shrine of Lord Muruga here, fulfilling a vow taken for his recovery during his recent illness.
Rajinikanth, who returned to Chennai on July 13 after over six weeks treatment in Singapore for reported kidney ailment, had acknowledged that it was the prayers and love of his fans which saved him.
