The Unbelievable Tour is an exclusive show written and performed by Vir Das. Unlike most of Das’ specials, this show features personal stories from his life, revealing a very intimate side of India’s highest selling comedian. Setting record breaking sales since its conception, The Unbelievable Tour has since been the highest selling individual stand up tour in India.
The format of the tour pans out with Das recounting stories through his career. The 90-minute show features Das breaking down the nitty gritties of the funnier moments in his life. Although, like any good show, there’s a catch. These stories may or may not be true and it’s for the audience to decide. Do they believe if Das has performed for “ the coolest President ever”, Abdul Kalam? Did he really get dumped by his ex-girlfriend on Skype? Did Vir Das lose his virginity at 25? Each story comes alive in Das’ signature style - highly animated, sneakily intelligent and impressively tongue-in-cheek. But then again, you never know if these stories are true or not.
