RBI: New Re. 1 currency note soon

The Reserve Bank of India has officially announced that it would soon release a new Re.1 currency note under circulation.
The new note would be 110 Micron thick. Ashoka Pillar will be printed in the centre. Also, in a hidden form, the value Re. 1 will be indicated in the centre.
The above are the major features of the new Re. 1 currency note.
The central government had already announced that the new Re. 1 currency note would be released for circulation.
Accordingly, the Reserve Bank of India released an official statement.
