Technology is growing by leaps and bounds every day - rather, every hour. Robots are replacing humans in many fields of work.
In this scenario, in the Chinese Restaurant named ‘Robot’, located in OMR, robots are performing as servers/waiters. The owner of the restaurant has imported 4 robots from China for this.
The customer can order the food through the iPad fixed on their tables. This will transmit the message to the kitchen.The ordered items will be prepared and the plate of dishes will be placed in the hands of the robot and sent to the ordered table. The robot will deliver the plate of ordered dishes.
The robots reach the correct customers through the sensors fitted in them. The robots welcome the customers even as they enter the restaurant and ushers them to their seats. In case they customers had visited earlier, the robot will be able to remember them. There is a facility to take ‘selfie’ with the robot.
As most of the people are used to the routine of humans serving, it is a different sight to observe the robot serving causing wonder and delight. So, the restaurant is becoming hugely popular with each passing day.
