Chennai Metro Rail Update

The first high-level bridge over the Metro Rail will be from Koyambedu to Pallikaranai. Signal and control room work in connection with this has started. The bridge is scheduled to be ready in 5 months.
Chennai Metro train will have 4 compartments, the first of which as arrived from Brazil. The 3 other compartments are expected to arrive in August this year. Metro Rail officials hope to have a trial run of the train in November-December of 2013.
