Provident Fund interest rate fixed at 7.6%

The interest rate for the Employee Provident Fund has been fixed at 7.6 %.
The interest rate for the Employees Provident Fund which is deposited taken from the monthly salaries was fixed at 7.6% from 1st January to 31st March.
The state government of Tamil Nadu has fixed this same rate as interest for the employee provident fund for the period from 1st April to 30th June.
The state government order has been released by the Secretary of the state Finance Department, Shanmugam.
