With the prospects of strong winds blowing across the state of Tamil Nadu, the Chennai Meteorological centre has warned that fishermen should venture into the sea with a lot of caution.
The center has warned that strong winds may blow from Southwest direction and that the sea waves may swell up to heights of 3.5 metres to 4.2 metres high.
It is also informed that there are prospects of mild rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to the phenomenon of thermal convection.
The Chennai Metro City will remain cloudy. There are prospects of mild rain with thunder in the evening or night sessions.
