Counselling sessions for engineering course commence tomorrow (6th July)

The single-window counselling sessions for admission to the engineering courses for the students belonging to the special category is set to commence tomorrow (Friday, 6th July). It has been announced by Anna University that the candidates qualified under the special category must come to the Chennai Anna University complex directly.
As per the announcement released by the Anna University Engineering Students Admission Committee, the counselling for the differently-abled candidates is scheduled to be conducted on 6th July. The qualified candidates must come to Chennai and participate in the counselling. The related information has already been intimated to the qualified candidates.
The counselling for the heirs of ex-military personnel as per their quota is scheduled to be conducted on 7th July and the relevant candidates must participate in the counselling conducted at Chennai Anna University complex.
The counselling for the quota of sports (excellence) candidates is scheduled to be conducted on 8th July. The candidates who qualified after the document/certificate verification must visit Chennai and participate in the counselling.
The counselling is conducted in 3 sessions per day – 9/00 AM. 10.30 AM, and 12.00 Noon.
The above information has already been sent through e-mail and SMS to the qualified candidates.
Guideline for online counselling
As per the instructions released by the Secretary of the Engineering Students Admission Committee, Raymond Uheriyaraj, the candidates belonging to the open community cadre can undertake the activity of selecting their preferred college and course only on the following websites: https://www.tnea.ac.in and https://www.annauniv.edu.
Further, the procedural activities and other details of the online counselling has been uploaded on the students` admission website.
