New Coast Guard Commander in Pondi

The new Commander of the Indian Coast Guard Station in Puducherry is Mr. N. Somasundaram.
The Commander, who has 21 years experience in the Coast Guard, said he was happy to be back (he was a Pondicherry University student) and looked forward to serving the people of the region. He would also look at strengthening the security along the coast.
Mr. Somasundaram takes over from Mr. Suresh Mankotti.
