The most important annual celebration in Tirupathi temple, the 10-days Brahmotsavam, celebrated in a grand manner with huge crowds of devotees, has commenced this year on 13th September and the grand celebrations have been in progress.
On the 8th day of the Brahmotsavam, the event of the divine chariot procession was organised. The deity of Lord Venkateswara along with His Consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi was seated on the chariot and taken on a procession along the corridors and streets of the temple.
Lakhs of ardent devotees had gathered in Corridor streets to have the divine Darshan of the Lord in the chariot procession.
The huge crowd of devotees, religiously chanting, ‘Govinda! Govinda’, had a Darshan of the Lord and His Consorts on the Big Chariot.
Subsequently, in the night session of the 8th day of Brahmotsavam, the deity of the Lord was taken on a procession on the carriage of the golden horse along the corridors and streets of the temple.
