KG in government schools in TN to be introduced today

On Monday, 21st of January 2019, chief minister of TN, Mr. E. Palaniswamy, would be launching LKG and UKG in the government schools. This has been confirmed by the school education minister, Mr. K. A. Sengottaiyan.

It is known that some students belonging to the government schools in TN would be going to countries like Sweden, Finland etc and send off meeting for these students took place on Sunday. The school education minister spoke about how from June onwards the classes would function in full swing. The amazing news is TN is planning to send as many as 100 students belonging to both government and government aided schools in TN on an education tour. As many as 50 students would be sent to Sweden, Finland etc now and the rest 50 students would be sent in the month of May.

The point is from 22nd of January onwards JACTO-GEO (Joint Action Council of Teachers Association and Government Employees Union would take part in a strike. The school education minister, Mr. Sengottaiyan spoke about how the school education department has requested the teachers associations to co-operate to conduct the forthcoming public examinations. He finally shed light on how before 15th of February TRB or Teacher’s Recruitment Board would announce the exam dates for TET or Teachers Eligibility Test.
