Info on deserted vehicles can be passed on through new App!

The Chennai Metro City Police has announced that information regarding deserted and uncared-for vehicles can be photographed and informed to them through a mobile App.
As such, the police have been systematically removing the deserted vehicles plying on the roads and blocking the traffic flow and hand them over to the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) officials.
Now, the Police Department had announced yesterday (Tuesday, 10th March) that individuals, whenever they see deserted vehicles lying on roads unattended, can photograph them and send the same to the Police Department through the Mobile App ‘GCTB Citizen Services’.
