The Director-General of Police (DGP) of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, J. K. Tripathi, has ordered the transfer of 14 DSPs (Deputy Superintendents of Police).
The Details:
Transfers are being carried out in the Tamil Nadu Police Department for reasons of better administrative convenience and sometimes on requests and sometimes due to slackness in performing a duty. As such, the DGP of the Police Department for Law and order has ordered transfers for 14 DSPs on Saturday, 26th December.
The noteworthy information n these transfers
- DSP K. Beer Mohideen, presently Thoothukkudi District Vilathikula, is transferred to Madurai City Department of illegal and occupation.
- Thanjavur CBCID DSP V. Thanizhvaanan is transferred to Chennai Metro City Department of Protection.
- Chennai Metro City Police Protection Department Deputy Commissioner S. Desikan is transferred to Chennai Metro City Economic Offences Department Headquarters.
It was informed in the Police Department Circes that these 14 transferred DSPs will assume office as per the new posting in 1 or 2 days.
