Sensational!! Not a single Chennai street has more than 10 COVID cases now

The sensational piece of news that has emerged out now is that not a single street in the Chennai city has got more than 10 Covid-19 cases. It is known that the test positivity rate or TPR has come down below 1percent in Chennai and the number of fresh cases have come down to less than 300. The residents are feeling relieved and happy now. There is no containment zone in Chennai city at present.
It must be noted that Chennai had 16 streets with more than 6 Covid-19 cases and out of those 4 were in the Adyar zone belonging to GCC. Truth is that Teynampet zone has 3 such streets and zones like Alandur, Royapuram and Kodambakkam have 2 streets each. There are more than 6 cases each in one street belonging to the zones of Anna Nagar, Ambattur and Thiru Vi-Ka Nagar. It must be remembered that on 16th June 2021, Chennai had 10 streets with more than 10 cases and Adyar and Kodambakkam zones with 4 streets and 3 streets with above 10 cases respectively. Important zones like Tondiarpet, Ambattur and Teynampet had one such street each. More than 6 Covid-19 cases were present in the 99 streets and Teynampet zone had more than 20 such streets.
More than 6 cases were present on the 244 streets on 10th of June 2021. More than 10 cases were present on 31 streets. It is worth mentioning here that on 4th June 2021 365 streets had more than 10 cases and containment restrictions were imposed.
