Important!! Procedure for linking PF account with Aadhar number!!

Beginning from the 1st of June 2021 onwards, Labour Provident Fund Organisation pr LPFO had made some changes in its rules. It must be taken into note that the customers must link their Aadhar number with their PF account compulsorily. The organisation had warned that if the above said linking was not done then the contribution amount from PF would not be given. The last day for linking PF accounts with Aadhaar numbers was 31st August 2021. This was mentioned by the office of the provident fund.
By this procedure it is possible to link PF account and Aadhar number
In the first step, the person must go to http://www.epfindia.gov.in/ and then click online services. Further, the person from e-KYC portal must click the link UAN aadhar. This would be followed by registering a personal mobile number and UAN number. After registering, OTP would be sent to the mobile number. In the next step, this number must be registered followed by the registration of aadhar number. After clicking proceed, PF account would be linked with aadhar number after the verification of OTP for aadhar. It is well known that aadhar was first launched in the year 2009 and it is a 12 digit unique identity number.
