TN State Govt Order: Today (Tuesday, 25th October) will be a holiday for all schools and colleges!

To celebrate the most Important Indian festival of Deepavali, more than 5 lakh citizens with their families have left Chennai to celebrate Deepavali in their native places! Similarly, people of different districts working in other districts have also left for their native places to celebrate Deepavali!
As such, there is a situation where all these citizens must return to their workplace cities/districts the next day after Deepavali (Tuesday, 25th October)!
So, they must leave their native places on the night of Deepavali itself!
Giving due consideration to this situation, the parents and teachers have appealed to the State government of Tamil Nadu to declare the next day after the Deepavali festival, Tuesday, 25th October, as a holiday!
As such, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has released a Government Order (G. O.) that 25th October, Tuesday, the next day after the Deepavali festival, WILL BE A HOLIDAY!
In a notification released by the State Government of Tamil Nadu in this regard, it is mentioned:
"To facilitate the students/teachers travelling to their native places to celebrate the Deepavali Festival on Monday, 24th October, and return to their residential city/district, Tuesday, 25th October, the next day after Deepavali Festival, is declared as a holiday for all schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu!
To compensate for this holiday, 19th November, Saturday will be a working Day!"
