When the cells present in the urinary bladder grow uncontrollably, we could get urinary bladder cancer in us. The main purpose of the urinary bladder that is present in the lower abdomen would be to store urine.  The lining of the muscular walls starts to wither  either way when the cancer strikes.

It is really shocking to note that the majority of urinary bladder cancer cases get detected only in the last stages especially in females leading to very dangerous issues.

The early signs of urinary bladder cancer are

Blood in urine:

It is learnt that one of the most important early signs of urinary bladder cancer is blood in the urine. Known by another name called haematuria, this is usually a painless condition and can be noticed easily. Whenever the blood becomes brownish coloured, then it must be checked without fail. Usually, women would not pay a  huge attention to the blood in urine as they would associate it with some gynaecological based issues in them.

Pain and burning sensation:

Sometimes when we pass urine, then we could experience a burning sensation. This is also one symptom of urinary bladder cancer. It is also known as dysuria and this burning sensation occurs mostly in men.

Unintended weight loss:

When the healthy cells die,  then there could be unintended weight loss and loss of appetite etc.  It must be noted that the immune system would become weak .

Swelling in feet:

Urine is usually produced by the combined work of both kidneys and urinary bladder. There is pressure on the kidneys when cancer occurs and this could lead to malfunction of the kidneys. There would be lack of proper circulation of blood in the feet and this would finally lead to swelling.

Severe back pain:

Those with urinary bladder cancer would have lower back pain that begins to increase when the cancer grows in size or when the tumour cells begin to spread to other body parts..

Other symptoms:

There are also other early signs like not being able to pass urine, pain in bones, body tenderness and feeling tired always etc.
