Vegetable Prices Fluctuate at Chennais Koyambedu Wholesale Market!

Vegetable prices at Chennai`s Koyambedu Wholesale Market saw moderate fluctuations on Wednesday due to supply, demand, and seasonal changes. Green chillies dropped sharply to Rs 30 per kg from Rs 50 on Saturday. Bell peppers increased by Rs 20, now selling at Rs 80 per kg. Capsicum and curry leaves both decreased by Rs 5, priced at Rs 40 and Rs 20, respectively. The cost of shallots and beans rose by Rs 5, reaching Rs 80 and Rs 75 per kg. Onions saw a slight decrease, now at Rs 48 per kg. Prices are expected to continue fluctuating due to weather conditions and supply chain disruptions.
