Depression formed in Bay of Bengal – Good prospects for heavy rain

A low pressure zone has foamed in the Bay of Bengal. The meteorological centre has informed. There are prospects of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry.
The last one month has been pretty dry for entire Tamil Nadu with oppressive weather affecting the people. There is acute drinking water shortage in several places.
What is more, ‘Agni Nasksahatram’ us to start from tomorrow.
Under ths situation, a low pressure zone has formed in the Bay of Bengal. Because of thois both the Northern & Southern districts in Tamil Nadu are expected to receive light to heavy rainfall.
Meanwhile, it is already raining in some areas in Kanyakumari district. Consistent drizzle persists in Thiruvattaru and Mannargudi areas. Rain has started in Thanjavur & Thiruvaroor.
