600 post graduate teachers posts lying vacant in government schools

There are about 600 post graduate teachers posts lying vacant in the government schools. Sources in the education department say that efforts are being made to fill up the vacancies.
1807 post graduate teachers vacancies arose in the year 2013-14 and 2014-15. Notification for these vacancies was issued during the month November 2014. The examination was conducted on 10th January and post graduate teachers were appointed.
It was expected that announcement will be made in the state assembly with regard to filling up this year vacancies but no announcement was made.
At this juncture, the education department has mentioned that there are 500 to 600 vacancies of post graduate teachers. Moreover the graduate teachers have to be promoted as post graduate teachers. Only after this process, action for the vacancies to be filled up will be done.
Now a GO notifying the vacancies will be done. After this the Teachers Selection Board will take necessary action.
