Six new emotions to be added to Facebook

Facebook has announced that six new emotions will be added to the platform soon, moving away from just the Like button.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that they have been testing these emotion for four months now, and that they will be added pretty soon. The new symbols will include angry, sad, wow, haha, yay and love.
Speaking about this, Mr. Zuckerberg said, We want people to be able to share all of the things that are meaningful to them, not just the things that are happy and that people are going to like when they see it.(Our) engineers still need to make a few more tweaks before the new options are offered in other parts of the world.
By doing this, Facebook hope to encourage people to share more of their thoughts, at a more frequent time and, in turn, spend more time on the social networking platform. The new emotions have been tested in Chile, the Philippines, Portugal, Ireland, Spain, Japan and Colombia.
