It was a scorching summer yesterday in Trichy & Vellore.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the maximum temperature of 107 Degrees Farenheit was recorded for the first time.
Though Chennai is the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu, the summer here has been so scorching that it can be deemed to be the capital of summer as well. Yesterday was another zapping day for the public who have to venture outside.
Hot air was blowing as though the peak summer days of Agni Nakshatram has already arrived. The scorching heat zaps the energy in quick time that the person experiences giddiness and high heart-beat which may even lead to loss of life.
At the same time, there was some respite from the heat in a few districts where it rained a bit. However, the grip of summer is back again when scorching heat with hot air continue to zap people energy levels.
