Myntra app users receive spam messages

Myntra’s app users were bombarded with spam messages on Wednesday and Thursday. Those who had the Myntra app on their phones received hundreds of fake notification in their inboxes.
Many app users took to Twitter to air their complaints. Tweeted one online shopper, Myntra gone crazy?? Spamming with fake notifications. Another tweet read, Deleted myntra App, got at least 5000 notifications of order delivery and confirmation.
In response, the company tweeted, Sorry :( This has happened due to a technical glitch. Please ignore the same. We`re fixing the issue.
